Hello, I’m Pip Finch – graphic designer, welly wearer and lifelong animal lover. I started Spirit Design in 2007 to help businesses of all shapes and sizes stand out from the crowd with eye-catching designs and effective branding. I am very lucky that I love my job and love helping people improve their business, it is very rewarding and I build good business relationships with my clients, most of whom have been with me for the full length of my journey.
Since I was 6 years old, when my father used to be an import /export engineer, I used to be aware of his clients and the work he did being self employed. The family were lucky enough to travel with him all over Europe on business, so I grew up with people skills and learning to listen to clients to understand their requirements as well as being blessed naturally with creative skills. I now combine the two which provides a small but successful business helping others to succeed.
I approach every job with passion and enthusiasm, and utilising 27 years of big-brand design experience, whether your business is a one-man band or a larger corporate business.
I make it my mission to get to the heart of your business, translating the essence of your company into affordable colour, pictures and graphics.
From a small logo to an exhibition stand, and everything in between, Spirit has the imagination and the creative flair to bring your brand to life.
Over the years working at past agencies I’ve created striking designs and powerful point of sale literature for some big names in retail, including DIY giant B&Q, former supermarket Somerfield, and condom manufacturer Mates.
Your kitchen cupboards would have been familiar with my packaging designs, which include Toblerone, Terry’s Chocolate Orange, Philadelphia, Dairylea, Carte Noire, Maxwell House and Kenco.
Now I’m more fond of helping small to medium size businesses across the South West, whilst using the experience I’ve gained from working on big brand names I now love to encourage new start ups and small and medium businesses who are experts in their own field to grow, giving them advice on marketing and producing professional design to aid their success.
Above all, my enthusiasm and zest for life mean working with Spirit is always a joy, never a chore.
